Ok, guys...here it goes.....and believe me, I am trying to write this without ....(uh too late)...crying. This past week, my sister said goodbye to her hubby who was sent overseas for a year. Goodbyes are never fun, but believe me when I say I CANNOT wait to post about his homecoming to his beautiful family. M...all I can say is stay strong, and please know that many many people are praying for you during this time that you are seperated from your hubby and best friend! B ..thank you sooo much for all that you do! I am seriously amazed at all that you and our military families go through so that we, Americans, can be safe and free. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I leave you with a recipe for a Military Spouse!
1 1/2 cups Patience
1 cup Courage
3/4 cup Tolerance
dash of Adventure
1 pound of Ability
To the above ingredients: Add 2 tablespoons elbow grease and let stand alone for one year. Marinate frequently with salty tears. Pour off excess fat and sprinkle ever so lightly with money then Knead dough until payday. Season with international spices. Bake 20 years or until done. Makes unlimited servings
