Cambodian/American Wedding (:

I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of a Cambodian and American Wedding....on back to back days! What a whirlwind for the bride and groom....but amazing and beautiful traditions were captured for the rest of their lives together! The cambodian wedding included the groom and family bringing gifts to the brides family as dowry. The bride also, as per tradition, took part of the feet washing of her groom (see photo). The American wedding was beautiful as well. The giving of the bride to the groom,the promises made to each other, surrounded by friends and family. I also have included a couple shots of another tradition at the end of their day....instead of bringing gifts to the wedding, people brought envelopes filled with money to the bride and groom.....however, the bride and groom were usually asked to kiss, eat, drink, or were given blessings as they recieved the envelope..as you can see in the photos I included.
