Last weekend, I had the opportunity to go visit
Mackinaw Mackinac Island in Michigan for a lovely 'destination' wedding! M & G, thank you thank you thank you for the lovely hotel you treated us to! It was pretty much amazing! The drive to the Island was nice! The day of the wedding, my husband (who got to come along with me) went for a 3 hour trail hike in our ahem....flipflops. Oops. Mistake, especially since I had to photograph a wedding just a few short hours later. Anyway, the Island was so peaceful & filled with beautiful things....like...the water ,the ferry rides, the amazing homes & hotels, chocolates (mmm), horse carriages (awww), bikes, no cars (I LOVED that part)....and my best friend! Oops, sorry, this post is not about me. The bride & groom chose to have a beautiful, intimate wedding on the Island. It was so lovely. I LOVED the fact that they both shed tears as they said their I do's. So beautiful! Im a sucker for romantic stuff....and thaaaat, was romantic! M & G, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
